Common use of DIVERSITY SUBCONTRACTORS AND SUPPLIERS Clause in Contracts

DIVERSITY SUBCONTRACTORS AND SUPPLIERS. ‌ a. It is the Owner’s desire that qualified Diversity Subcontractors be utilized as part of the Contract, where the Diversity Subcontractor meets the form, fit, and function of the Goods and Services, and is commercially competitive. The Owner’s goal is that at least 25% of the Contract Price be directed to qualified Diversity Subcontractors. b. Contractor agrees to use best efforts to award subcontracts to qualified Diversity Subcontractors and in connection therewith Contactor shall complete and submit the “Supplier Diversity Questionnaire” (Appendix C) c. If Contractor utilizes a Diversity Subcontractor to fulfill any portion of this Contract, including freight, it shall report the following to Owner’s Representative: i. Contractor’s Name ii. Contact person, including email and phone number.
