Drift Clause Samples
The Drift clause defines how minor deviations or variations from agreed specifications or performance standards are handled within a contract. Typically, this clause allows for small, non-material discrepancies that do not significantly impact the overall purpose or value of the contract deliverables, such as slight differences in measurements or tolerances in manufacturing. By specifying acceptable limits for such variations, the Drift clause helps prevent disputes over trivial issues and ensures that only significant deviations are subject to remedies or penalties, thereby promoting efficiency and clarity in contract performance.
