Common use of DRIVEWAY APPROACHES Clause in Contracts

DRIVEWAY APPROACHES. 20.1 Each Lot and Block shall be serviced with a driveway approach constructed in accordance with the Plans filed to the complete satisfaction of the Director of Public Works. 20.2 The Developer shall provide driveway curb cuts and granular driveway access on the boulevard prior to occupancy of any Building. It shall be the responsibility of the Developer to ensure that driveway access is maintained at all normal times during the construction or maintenance of the Works. 20.3 All driveway approaches (aprons) between the curb line and the sidewalk, or in the absence of a sidewalk between the curb line and the Street Line, shall be installed and paved by the Developer by no later than the 1st day of November in the year after the year in which the Buildings served by the driveway approaches are occupied in accordance with the approved plans and specifications therefor prior to the Director of Public Works approving the Completion Certificate for Secondary Services. 20.4 All driveway approaches shall be constructed to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works prior to the assumption of the Plan of Subdivision and no curbstops shall be allowed in driveways.
