Drop Ship Option Available Clause Samples
The "Drop Ship Option Available" clause allows a seller to fulfill orders by shipping products directly from a third-party supplier to the buyer, rather than from the seller's own inventory. In practice, this means that when a customer places an order, the seller can instruct the supplier to send the goods directly to the customer, often reducing handling time and inventory costs. This clause is primarily used to streamline logistics, expand product offerings, and minimize the seller's need to maintain large inventories, thereby increasing operational efficiency and flexibility.
Drop Ship Option Available. OEM Customers may request that orders from Company be shipped directly from the AR to an OM located outside of Company’s Territory. Company must forward this request using the “Drop Ship Request Form” to the MS account manager for approval. If approved, notice will be sent to Company and the AR to begin processing of the purchase order.
