Common use of Dual Credit Reimbursement Clause in Contracts

Dual Credit Reimbursement. 1. For the 2021-2022 school year Xxxxxxxxx County Schools will reserve $20,000 for graduate credit reimbursement for the purpose of earning dual credit credentialing. 2. Graduate credit must be pre-approved by the Superintendent prior to registering for the class. 3. The graduate credit must meet the requirements to earn dual credit credentialing to qualify for the stipend. 4. For the 2021-2022 school year, the stipend shall not exceed $350 per credit hour. 5. The benefit for a teacher shall not exceed $3,150 for the 2021-2022 school year. This includes summer courses taken prior to the start of the 2022-2023 school year. If a teacher receives grant funding or any other type of outside assistance for classes taken, the amount received from these sources shall be deducted from the $3,150 maximum benefit. 6. Official transcripts must be provided to the Superintendent for reimbursement. 7. The grade in the class must be a B- or better or a Pass grade on a Pass/Fail scale to qualify for reimbursement. 8. The reimbursement will be paid in equal two parts. The first reimbursement payment will be upon completion of the course and submission of a transcript verifying the completion of the course and the grade earned. The second reimbursement payment will be made in the first payroll of the school year following completion of the class provided the teacher is still employed at Xxxxxxxxx County Schools. If the teacher is no longer employed at Xxxxxxxxx County Schools the school year following the completion of the class the teacher will not receive the second reimbursement payment.
