Dubbing/Subtitling Clause Samples

The Dubbing/Subtitling clause governs the rights and responsibilities related to translating and adapting audiovisual content into different languages through dubbing (voice replacement) or subtitling (text translation). It typically specifies which party is authorized to create or approve dubbed or subtitled versions, the quality standards required, and any restrictions on distribution of these versions. This clause ensures that language adaptations are handled appropriately, maintaining the integrity of the original work while enabling access to broader audiences, and helps prevent unauthorized or substandard translations.
