Common use of Due Date for Indemnity Payments Clause in Contracts

Due Date for Indemnity Payments. Any amount to be paid by NAI under this Paragraph 10 will be due fifteen days after a notice requesting such payment is received by NAI. Any such amount not paid by NAI when first due will bear interest at the Default Rate in effect from time to time from the date it first became due until paid; provided, that nothing herein contained will be construed as permitting the charging or collection of interest at a rate exceeding the maximum rate permitted under Applicable Laws.
