Common use of Duration of Royalty Payments Clause in Contracts

Duration of Royalty Payments. Royalties under Article 6.2 shall be payable on a country by country basis for the longer of : a) the life of ASTRAZENECA Patent Rights which are necessary to continue to manufacture, use or sell the Product in such country; or b) a period of ten (10) years from Launch in that country (provided always that in the case of a country within the European Economic Area such ten (10) years period shall run from the date of Launch anywhere in the European Economic Area);
