DUTIES OF THE ACCOUNTABLE BODY. 5.1 For the duration of this Agreement, the Accountable Body shall: 5.1.1 act diligently and in good faith in all its dealings with the other Councils and it shall use its reasonable endeavours to discharge the Councils' obligations in relation to the City Deal pursuant to and in accordance with this Agreement and all applicable legislation including but not limited to:- (a) the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Xxx 0000; (b) Welsh Language (Wales) Measure 2011; and (c) the Welsh Language Standards; 5.1.2 act as the primary interface (on behalf of itself and the other Councils) with the Welsh Government, the UK Government and the European Regional Development Fund and any other body necessary to discharge the Councils' obligations in relation to the City Deal; and 5.1.3 act as the Accountable Body to hold any funds received directly from the Welsh Government, the UK Government (if any), the European Regional Development Fund (if any), the Councils and/or any other sources (if any) in relation to the City Deal and only to use and release such funds as agreed in accordance with the terms of such funding and this Agreement.
