Duty to appeal. In the event that payment by a third party payer, including, but not limited to, Medicaid, has been denied and there is a reasonable basis for appeal, the Provider shall either: 10.5.1 Take steps reasonably necessary to perfect and pursue appeals of denial of payment by third party payors or 10.5.2 Provide to the individual or entity filing the appeal, information reasonably necessary to pursue the appeal, to the extent that such information may be released in accordance with applicable requirements.
