Duty to report patentable inventions. If during the course of his/her doctoral education the PhD candidate makes a patentable invention, the candidate is to notify in writing without due delay the party that he/she has a contract of employment with, in accordance with the Act Respecting the Right to Employees' Inventions of 17 April 1970 Section 5. The other institutional party is to have a copy of this for information purposes.
