Common use of DYNAMIC PERFORMANCE Clause in Contracts

DYNAMIC PERFORMANCE. 5.1 Minor AC Voltage Disturbances Continuous operation of the Merchant Transmission Facility system shall not be disrupted by the following minor disturbances.  Dynamic AC voltage swings of less than ±10% with an oscillatory period of one second or longer.  Any switching of reactive banks.  Energization at any point on the AC voltage wave of any electric system capacitor banks. Disruption of continuous operation shall be defined as an inverter commutation failure, or as any deviation from the pre-disturbance power transfer greater than 50% of the pre-disturbance value for a duration in excess of 0.02 seconds. The above shall apply for the normal range of short-circuit capacity.
