E911 Disclaimer Sample Clauses

An E911 Disclaimer clause serves to inform users about the limitations and responsibilities associated with accessing emergency services (such as 911) through certain telecommunications or VoIP services. It typically clarifies that emergency calls may not function the same way as traditional landline services, for example, due to power outages, internet disruptions, or inaccurate location information. The core function of this clause is to ensure users are aware of these potential limitations, thereby reducing liability for the service provider and promoting user safety by encouraging alternative emergency communication methods when necessary.
