The Early Notice clause requires one party to promptly inform the other party of certain events or circumstances as soon as they become aware of them. In practice, this might involve notifying the other party about potential breaches, delays, or issues that could affect the contract's performance, often within a specified timeframe. By mandating timely communication, the clause helps both parties address problems proactively, minimizing potential damages and misunderstandings.

Bargaining unit members who have served in the bargaining unit for twenty (20) or more years and who provide the Superintendent with an irrevocable notice of their intent to resign on or before March 1st in the year prior to their final full year of service shall receive to thousand dollars ($2,000) which shall be in addition to the longevity amount listed in Section (B(3)(a).
