Early Notification of Termination. It is recognized that proper planning and staffing necessitates the knowing of vacant positions; therefore, individuals who unconditionally serve notice of termination or retirement for a succeeding school year by April 1 of the then current school year shall receive a termination bonus of $750. Those persons who unconditionally serve notice of termination or retirement for a succeeding school year between April 1 and May 31 shall receive a $500 bonus. Those individuals who unconditionally serve notice of termination or retirement for the succeeding year between June 1 and June 30 shall receive a $300 bonus. No bonus under this subsection shall be paid an administrator serving official notice of retirement or termination for a succeeding year after June 30.
