Common use of Early Payment of Special Charge Clause in Contracts

Early Payment of Special Charge. At any time after the Special Charge (Actual) is levied on the Property by the City, the Property Owner can discharge the Special Charge (Actual) and end the Payment Term by making a one-time single lump sum payment in an amount determined by the City. As permitted by Section 35.8 of the Regulation, the amount of the payment will be the present value of the Special Charge (Actual) still outstanding, calculated by the City using the Program Interest Rate as the discount rate.
