Common use of EDI Test Period Clause in Contracts

EDI Test Period. Both parties agree that for XXX, for a period of time, as mutually agreed to by the parties (the “EDI Test Period”), data shall be transmitted and received electronically for testing purposes. During the EDI Test Period, electronic transmission and receipt of data shall supplement but not replace exchanges of paper-based documents. The EDI Test Period may be terminated at any time by mutual agreement of the parties. Data transmitted and received electronically during the EDI Test Period shall have no force or effect between the parties. The EDI Test Period shall not commence until a Data Exchange Order Form for EDI is executed by the parties.
