Editing and Retouching Clause Samples

The Editing and Retouching clause defines the rights and responsibilities regarding the modification of images or content after their initial creation. Typically, this clause outlines whether and to what extent the photographer or service provider may alter photographs, such as adjusting colors, removing blemishes, or making other enhancements, and may specify if additional fees apply for extensive edits. Its core function is to set clear expectations between parties about permissible alterations, thereby preventing disputes over the final appearance of delivered work.
