Educational Resources. 1. Additional educational resources and material provided by Ascientia to the Student are proprietary to the Company and must not be distributed to any third party unless an agreement is made with Ascientia. Unauthorised distribution will lead to a breach of this contract.
2. The resources provided are not endorsed by the IB Foundation. Ascientia strives to create resources that follow the IB syllabi as closely as possible, however the Company cannot always guarantee this. Ascientia does not accept any liability for any claims by the Student or Parent arising out the use of its educational resources and materials.
Educational Resources. 5.1 The Parties agree to, individually, together, and with Schools, make best efforts to:
a) Introduce more culturally relevant educational resources and activities in all subject areas for all students.
b) Offer English First Peoples 10, 11 and12, BC First Peoples 12 and Contemporary Indigenous Studies 12 and residential school curriculum.
c) Utilize, to the extent feasible, existing curriculum and educational resources developed by the local First Nations within the District.
d) Continuously improve the development and selection of First Nations curriculum, materials and resources.
e) Provide staff with cross-cultural awareness training.
f) Develop culturally appropriate education, resources, training and protocols for events and ceremonies that take place at a School.
g) Seek to continually identify measures for ongoing improvements to programs and school performance.
5.2 The Parties will, with the First Nation providing leadership and direction, work together to address the history of the residential school system through the development and implementation of curriculum, materials and resources, and through professional development opportunities, in a sensitive and appropriate manner.
5.3 The Parties will work in partnership to develop and implement Secwepemctsín programs.
5.4 At a cost negotiated by the Board and the First Nation, the Board will make available:
a) Resources and personnel to share ideas, put on workshops, undertake professional development, circulate information, and work with teachers, students and Parents.
b) Materials and supplies being loaned out at cost from the District Resource Library twice a year.
c) Expertise of the District’s Purchasing Department when the First Nation is considering making significant purchases.
Educational Resources. Resident shall have access to information related to eligibility for specialty-based examinations as described in Section V of the Manual.
Educational Resources. Provide a list of resources used in marketing courses taught in program.
Educational Resources. As part of this agreement and upon approval from JCSD, TSC agrees to provide a member of our staff twice per fiscal year to speak on current issues involving the HVAC profession to a HVAC class in Technology Center. This presentation will be coordinated with the instructor that is directing the program. The speaker will be involved in a managerial, or lead technician role.
Educational Resources. The parties may use free or low-cost open education resources in courses offered. AISD shall be responsible for purchasing all required student textbooks, supplemental materials, supplies, and operational equipment.

5.4 With regard to intellectual property rights, the Parties acknowledge article 31 of UN Declaration:
1. Indigenous peoples have the right to maintain, control, protect and develop their cultural heritage, traditional knowledge and traditional cultural expressions, as well as the manifestations of their sciences, technologies and cultures, including human and genetic resources, seeds, medicines, knowledge of the properties of fauna and flora, oral traditions, literatures, designs, sports and traditional games and visual and performing arts. They also have the right to maintain, control, protect and develop their intellectual property over such cultural heritage, traditional knowledge, and traditional cultural expressions.
2. In conjunction with indigenous peoples, States shall take effective measures to recognize and protect the exercise of these rights.
5.5 Consistent with article 31 of UN Declaration, the Parties agree that: 5.6
a) the First Nation retains any intellectual property and copyrights of any curriculum content developed in collaboration or cooperation with them regarding their First Nations languages, cultural heritage, traditional knowledge and traditional cultural expressions;
b) the use of such information is intended to be for instructional purposes only at a local level and for the school district’s staff’s professional development purposes; and
c) any other proposed or intended use requires written consent from the First Nation.
Educational Resources. Educational initiatives in HTA and related fields have been increasing rapidly in Europe. ECHTA should actively collect information on educational and training opportunities on HTA from the different actors involved in education (e.g. Universities, HTA agencies). A European catalogue of HTA educational opportunities should be compiled and made available for all those interested. The information should be presented in a structured way to allow better comparability. Such an overview can be helpful to identify educational needs and duplications. In addition, it is the basis for a future European Masters of Science in HTA, which may be co-ordinated by ECHTA.
Educational Resources. 4.1 The Parties agree to, individually, together, and with Schools, make best efforts to:
a) Increase local culturally relevant educational resources and activities in all subject areas for all students, such as through Board/Authority Authorized courses, and for events and ceremonies that takes place at a School with emphasis on the Nuxalk Nation b) prioritize English First Peoples 10, 11 and12, BC First Peoples 12 and Contemporary Indigenous Studies 12 and residential school curriculum with emphasis on the Nuxalk Nation where available as per the new graduation requirement mandated by the Ministry of Education
4.2 The Parties will, with Nuxalk Nation providing leadership and direction, work together to address the history of the Indian residential school system through the development and implementation of curriculum, materials, and resources, and through professional development opportunities, in a sensitive and appropriate manner.
4.3 The Parties will work in partnership to develop and implement Nuxalk Nation’s recognized language programs for educational purposes in schools.
4.4 With regard to intellectual property rights, the Parties acknowledge article 31 of UN Declaration:
