Emergencies. 10.3.1 In any emergency affecting the safety of persons or property, the Contractor shall act to prevent threatened damage, injury or loss. Any additional compensation or extension of time claimed by the Contractor on account of emergency work shall be determined as provided in Article 12 for Changes in the Work.
Emergencies. 30.1.3.1 If a Receiving Party receives a request from a law enforcement agency for a temporary number change, temporary disconnect, or one-way denial of outbound calls by the Receiving Party’s switch regarding an End User of the other Party, the Receiving Party will comply with a valid emergency request. However, neither Party shall be held liable for any claims or Losses alleged by the other Party’s End Users arising from compliance with such requests on behalf of the other Party’s End User and the Party serving such End User agrees to indemnify and hold the other Party harmless against any and all such claims or Losses.

It is understood that a declared emergency may be limited to specific geographic areas, in which case suspension of the terms of this Agreement, as provided above, would apply only to those employees permanently or temporarily assigned to such areas.

Emergencies. 13.1 [Reserved] 13.2 Obligations. Each Party shall comply with the Emergency Condition procedures of the CAISO, NERC, the Applicable Reliability Council, Applicable Reliability Standards, Applicable Laws and Regulations, and any emergency procedures set forth in this LGIA.

Emergencies. In an emergency affecting the welfare and safety of life or property, Contractor, without special instruction or authorization from the City Project Manager, is hereby permitted, authorized and directed to act at its own discretion to prevent threatened loss or injury. Except in the case of an emergency requiring immediate remedial work, any work performed after regular working hours, on Saturdays, Sundays or legal holidays, shall be performed without additional expense to the City unless such work has been specifically requested and approved by the City Project Manager. Contractor shall be required to provide to the City Project Manager with the names, addresses and telephone numbers of those representatives who can be contacted at any time in case of emergency. Contractor’s emergency representatives must be fully authorized and equipped to correct unsafe or excessively inconvenient conditions on short notice by City or public inspectors.
Emergencies. In an emergency affecting safety of persons or property, the Design-Builder shall act, at the Design-Builder’s discretion, to prevent threatened damage, injury or loss.
