Common use of EEO Provisions Clause in Contracts

EEO Provisions. Company agrees that it will require its direct contracts with the 609 Streetscape Contractor and the Engineer to require that those entities: (1) shall not discriminate 610 against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex, national 611 origin, political affiliation or belief, age, or handicap. The Company shall take affirmative action 612 to insure that applicants are employed and that employees are treated equally during 613 employment, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, political affiliation or 614 belief, age, or handicap. Such action shall include but not be limited to the following: 615 employment, upgrading, demotion, transfer, recruitment or advertising, layoff or termination, 616 rates of pay or other forms of compensation, and selection for training, including apprenticeship. 617 (2) shall post in conspicuous places, available to employees and applicants for employment, 618 notices setting forth these EEO provisions. (3) shall state, in all solicitations or advertisement for 619 employees placed by or on behalf of such entities, that all qualified applicants will receive 620 consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, 621 political affiliation or belief, age, or handicap.
