Common use of Effect of Expiration or Termination of this Agreement Clause in Contracts

Effect of Expiration or Termination of this Agreement. (a) In the event of termination or expiration of this Agreement, then, except to the extent otherwise provided in this Section 13.5(a) and Section 13.5(f) below, neither Party shall have any liability or obligation to the other Party under this Agreement. Notwithstanding the foregoing sentence, the licenses granted to CUBIST under Section 2 shall survive expiration of this Agreement pursuant to Section 13.1(b), and in such event, such licenses shall be deemed to be fully paid up, irrevocable and perpetual.

Effect of Expiration or Termination of this Agreement. (a) In the event of termination or expiration that the term of this AgreementAgreement expires pursuant to Section 9.1 hereof, thenthen this Agreement shall terminate, and, except to the extent otherwise provided in this Section 13.5(a9.5(a) and Section 13.5(f9.5(e) below, neither Party shall have any liability or obligation to the other Party under this Agreement, including, without limitation, under Article V and Article VI. Notwithstanding the foregoing sentence, the licenses granted to CUBIST under Section 2 Article III shall survive expiration of this Agreement pursuant to Section 13.1(b), such termination and in such event, such licenses shall be deemed to be fully paid up, irrevocable and perpetual.
