Common use of Effect of First Amendment Clause in Contracts

Effect of First Amendment. Except as expressly amended by the provisions hereof, the terms and conditions contained in the Original Lease shall continue to govern the rights and obligations of the parties; and all provisions and covenants in the Original Lease shall remain in full force and effect as stated therein, except to the extent specifically modified by the provisions of this First Amendment. This First Amendment and the Original Lease shall be construed as one instrument known as the Lease.

Except as expressly amended modified by the provisions hereofthis First Amendment, the terms Existing Lease and all the covenants, agreements, terms, provisions and conditions contained in the Original Lease shall continue to govern the rights and obligations of the parties; and all provisions and covenants in the Original Lease thereof shall remain in full force and effect as stated therein, except to and are hereby ratified and affirmed. In the extent specifically modified by event of any conflict between the provisions of terms contained in this First Amendment. This First Amendment and the Original Existing Lease, the terms herein contained shall supersede and control the obligations and liabilities of the parties. From and after the date hereof, the term “Lease” as used in the Lease shall be construed mean the Existing Lease, as one instrument known as the Leasemodified by this First Amendment.
