Common use of Effective Date and Expiration of the Agreement Clause in Contracts

Effective Date and Expiration of the Agreement. ‌ For the programs and purposes listed in Sections IX.B.1., IX.B.3., IX.B.4, IX.C.1 through IX.C.3., and IX.D. through IX.E., the Agreement will take effect upon the date on which it is fully executed by ETA, the ICON grantee, and the state’s SUIA(s) and XXXXX(s), and may be amended from time to time in accordance with the Amendment Procedure set forth in Section XV. For the programs and purposes listed in Section IX.B.2. and IX.C.4, the Agreement will take effect upon the date on which it is fully executed by ETA, the ICON grantee, OCTAE, OSERS/RSA, the SUIA(s), and the XXXXX(s), and may be amended from time to time in accordance with the Amendment Procedure set forth in Section XV. The Agreement will expire five (5) years after the date of execution of the Agreement between ETA, OCTAE, OSERS/RSA, and the first state’s SUIA(s) and XXXXX(s) to sign the Agreement. Upon the expiration of the five-year term of Agreement, ETA, OCTAE, and OSERS/RSA may jointly agree in writing, at their sole discretion, to renew the Agreement.
