ELDER CARE LEAVE Sample Clauses

The Elder Care Leave clause grants employees the right to take time off from work to care for elderly family members who require assistance due to age-related health or dependency issues. Typically, this leave may be paid or unpaid, and the duration and eligibility criteria are defined by company policy or relevant laws; for example, an employee might be allowed several days or weeks of leave per year to care for an aging parent recovering from surgery. The core function of this clause is to support employees in balancing their work responsibilities with the demands of caring for elderly relatives, thereby promoting employee well-being and reducing workplace stress related to family caregiving obligations.
