  • Visiting Appointments A "visiting" appointment is one made to a person having appropriate professional qualifications but not expected to be available for more than a limited period, or to a person in a position which the University does not expect to be available for more than a limited period.   • Resignation of Representative A Representative may resign at any time by giving notice to the Company and all of the Holders of the Notes at least thirty (30) days before such resignation is to become eRective. Upon the resignation of a Representative, a replacement shall be selected by the affirmative vote of Holders holding a majority of the Notes, measured by outstanding principal amount. If such Holders have not selected a replacement Representative within sixty (60) days following the eRective date of the resignation, then Portal may, at any time, by giving notice to the Company and all of the Holders, designate a replacement Representative who shall not be related to or affiliated with Portal or the Company.

  • LIMITED DURATION APPOINTMENT Section 1. Persons may be hired for special studies or projects of uncertain or limited duration which are subject to the continuation of a grant, contract, award, or legislative funding for a specific project. Such appointments shall be for a stated period not exceeding two (2) years, except extended by legislative or Emergency Board action. Such appointment shall expire upon termination of the special study or projects.

  • Notice of Vacancy The notice for a vacancy shall contain: the job title; the salary range if below the present level 31 (Amherst) or 34 (Boston); a description of the position; the bona fide occupational requirements; the shift (where appropriate); the location; the closing date for applications; and, if the position is grant-funded or contract-funded, the termination date of the position, if known. A copy of the notice shall be provided to the Union.
