Common use of Elected CFPA Officials Clause in Contracts

Elected CFPA Officials. (a) With reasonable notice from the employee in writing that he/she has been elected to serve as a full time elected CFPA official, NAV CANADA will grant leave to the employee for the term of the appointment. (b) This period of leave will count as continuous service for purposes of calculating seniority, severance pay, vacation leave and pay increments granted in the interim. (c) Upon termination of his or her position with the CFPA, the employee shall be entitled to resume employment with NAV CANADA at the salary he/she was paid at the time of leaving plus any increases granted in the interim.
