Election of Annuity Payment Frequency. You may elect the Annuity Payment Frequency. Available Annuity Payment Frequencies include: monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual. In the event that You do not elect a payment frequency, annuity payments will be made monthly. Annuity payments will be made according to the Annuity Payment Frequency selected. The Annuity Calculation Date will be no more than five Valuation Days prior to the Annuity Commencement Date. You may elect a variable annuity, a fixed dollar annuity or a combination fixed dollar and variable annuity. You cannot change this election on or after the Annuity Commencement Date. If You elect a variable annuity, the Contract Value (less applicable Premium Taxes) is applied pro-rata to Your selected Sub-Account(s).
