Common use of Elevation of Dispute Clause in Contracts

Elevation of Dispute. (a) If the dispute is not settled by the Parties within thirty (30) Days of written notice of the dispute, it will be referred to, on the part of the Contractor, the most senior executive of the Contractor resident in Timor-Leste and on the part of the Ministry, a senior executive of the Ministry. Those senior executives will use all reasonable endeavours, acting in good faith, to negotiate a resolution of the dispute.
