Common use of Eligibility a Clause in Contracts

Eligibility a. i. A permanent, fixed term contract or eligible casual Employee is entitled to 52 weeks unpaid adoption leave on the placement of a child for adoption as provided for under this clause. ii. The period of leave granted to a fixed term contract Employee shall not extend beyond the term of that contract. iii. An Employee is eligible, without concluding their adoption leave and resuming duty, for subsequent periods of adoption leave, including paid adoption leave, in accordance with the provisions of this clause.
