Eligibility and Termination. SAMPLE 1. Upon receipt of an MCSO, CareFirst BlueChoice will accept enrollment of a child that is the subject of an MCSO. Coverage will be effective as of the effective date of the order, and the Premium will be adjusted as needed. If the Subscriber does not enroll the child then CareFirst BlueChoice will accept enrollment from the non-Subscriber custodial parent; or the appropriate child support enforcement agency of any state or the District of Columbia. 2. Enrollment for such a child will not be denied because the child: a) Was born out of wedlock; b) Is not claimed as a dependent on the Subscriber's federal tax return; c) Does not reside with the Subscriber; or d) Is covered under any Medical Assistance or Medicaid program. 3. Coverage required by an MCSO will be effective as of the date of the order.
