Emergency Repair. In the event of an emergency situation that requires immediate action to protect persons or property, work may proceed within the right‐of‐way without authorization from the local residency permit office; however, the wireless service provider or wireless infrastructure provider must contact the VDOT Emergency Operations Center as soon as reasonably possible but no later than 48 hours after the end of the emergency situation.
