Emergency Work. Employees who are required to report for emergency work on non- workdays, or outside of their regular hours of work on a scheduled workday or on holidays which they are entitled to have off, shall be paid overtime compensation for the actual work time and for travel time in connection therewith, but such travel time shall not exceed one-half (1/2) hour.

Emergency Work. In cases of any emergency, the TSP shall carry out all necessary remedial work as may be necessary. If the work done or caused to be done by any entity, other than the TSP, the TSP shall, reimburse the actual costs incurred, to the other Party carrying out such remedial works.
Emergency Work. (a) The contracting officer, without soliciting offers, may issue a written job order to a contractor that has previously executed a master agreement when—
(i) Delay in the performance of necessary repair work would endanger a vessel, its cargo or stores; or
(ii) Military necessity requires immediate work on a vessel.
(b) Follow the procedures at PGI 217.7103-4 when processing this type of undefinitized contract action. Follow the procedures at PGI 217.7103-5 if the nature of any repairs is such that their extent and probable cost cannot be ascertained readily.
Emergency Work. In the event that Force Majeure, emergencies, dangerous conditions or other exceptional circumstances arise or continue during TMO, Sensus shall be entitled to take any actions that Sensus, in good faith, determines is necessary or advisable to prevent, remedy, mitigate, or otherwise address actual or potential harm, interruption, loss, threat, security or like concern to any of the Application(s) (“Emergency Work”). Such Emergency Work may include, but is not limited to: analysis, testing, repair, maintenance, re-setting and other servicing of the hardware, cabling, networks, software and other devices, materials and systems through which access to and/or use of the Application(s) by the Customer is made available (the ”Managed Systems”). Sensus shall endeavor to provide advance notice of such Emergency Work to Customer when practicable and possible.
Emergency Work. In the event of an emergency, declared by the University of Minnesota Administration, during which employees cannot reach home and are required to work, the Employer shall make food and emergency lodging available, if possible.
Emergency Work. A. When an emergency is declared by the Superintendent and employees are generally excused from work because of the emergency, those employees required to work during the emergency will receive two times their regular rate of pay for such work.
B. When an emergency is declared by the Superintendent of Schools, resulting in a M- DCPS work location being temporarily unavailable for regular work assignments, affected full-time permanent/probationary and part-time permanent/probationary employees shall be offered similar positions with equivalent working hours at other M- DCPS work locations where vacancies exist. Refusal to accept such positions may result in a recommendation for layoff, subject to provisions in Article X, Section 2.
Emergency Work. Employees called out on emergency work shall be entitled to payment for such work from the time of leaving home to commence that work until they return home from such work, but they must return home within a reasonable time, and payment shall be calculated accordingly, but such payment shall not be less than 3 hours wages at ordinary rates.
Emergency Work. A. Unit employees (except those employed in the Department of Transportation where the current approved program will continue) shall be eligible for the special emergency rates or the employee’s regular overtime rate when entitled to overtime
1. Employees in the unit must be called in outside of scheduled work shifts; and
2. The work involved must be for emergency maintenance, replacement or repair of equipment or mechanical devices which are vital to the operation of an institution, agency or other function of the State; and
3. Such work must be necessitated by damage or failure resulting from storm, flood, explosion, sudden unexpected catastrophe or like causes; and
4. Such conditions must constitute unreasonable safety hazard to the public, employees or other persons or property of the State.
B. It is clearly understood that all of the foregoing elements or criteria must be met except as provided in paragraph G. below for an employee to be entitled to payment at the emergency rate. The following special project pay rates shall apply:
1. Employees who are engaged in manual or unskilled work as by use of shovels, picks, axes, choppers, etc., will be paid Group VI Emergency Rate (Code 6).
2. Employees who perform semi-skilled work including the operation of mechanized equipment such as trucks, plows, light-graders, backhoes, etc., will be paid Group V Emergency Rate (Code 5).
3. Employees who perform skilled work including the operation of heavy equipment or those employees who are assigned to be in charge of or supervise either semi-skilled or unskilled workers or both, will be paid Group IV Emergency Rate (Code 4).
4. Employees who perform emergency work in excess of the normal work hours related to winter weather conditions, such as snow removal and ice control will be paid Codes D and E. Code Rate D is for employees who operate heavy duty equipment, such as truck/front end loader mounted snow blowers; perform mechanical repair work; supervise the distribution of inventory parts for emergency operations; perform skilled labor involved in the repair of equipment; or act as Department representative assigned to snow removal activities. Code Rate E is for employees who operate “walk behind” snow blowers, graders, front end loaders, trucks, snow plows, material spreaders, compressors, and other mechanized equipment; make or assist in making occasional mechanical or electrical repairs; distribute or assist in the distribution of inventory parts for emergency...
Emergency Work. A. Unit employees shall be eligible for the special emergency rates or the employee's regular overtime rate, when entitled to overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act, whichever is greater, if called in to work under the following specific circumstances:
1. Employees in the unit must be called in outside of scheduled work shifts; and
2. The work involved must be for emergency maintenance, replacement or repair of equipment or mechanical devices which are vital to the operation of an institution, agency or other function of the State; and
3. Such work must be necessitated by damage or failure resulting from storm, flood, explosion, sudden unexpected catastrophe or like causes; and
4. Such conditions must constitute unreasonable safety hazard to the public employees, other persons or property of the State.
5. In winter weather conditions, codes C, D and E are to be used exclusively for emergency work performed in excess of normal work hours related to winter weather conditions such as snow removal and ice control.
B. It is clearly understood that all of the foregoing elements or criteria must be met for an employee to be entitled to payment at the emergency rate. The following special project pay rates shall apply:
1. Supervisors exclusively in the Department of Transportation’s Trenton Emergency Control Center during all emergency situations, including winter weather conditions, shall have an hourly rate authorized and known as Emergency Rate Code 7.
2. Employees who are engaged in manual or unskilled work as by use of shovels, picks, axes, choppers, etc., shall have an hourly rate authorized and known as Emergency Rate Code 6.
3. Employees who perform semi-skilled work including the operation of mechanized equipment such as trucks, plows, light-graders, backhoes, etc.; shall have an hourly rate authorized and known as Emergency Rate Code 5.
4. Employees who perform skilled work including the operation of heavy equipment or those employees who are assigned to be in charge of or supervise either semi-skilled or unskilled workers or both, shall have an hourly rate authorized and known as Emergency Rate Code 4.
5. Employees who supervise skilled workers or mixed teams of skilled, semi-skilled and/or unskilled employees, shall have an hourly rate authorized and known as Emergency Rate Code 3.
6. Supervisors who are in charge of a local area or district emergency operations, shall have an hourly rate authorized and known as Emergency Rate Code 2.
