Common use of EMERGENCY TERMINATION OF PARTICIPATING ADDENDUM Clause in Contracts

EMERGENCY TERMINATION OF PARTICIPATING ADDENDUM. 1. Due to restrictions which may be established by the United States Government on material, or work, this Participating Addendum may be terminated by the cancellation of all or portions of this Participating Addendum. 2. In the event the Contractor is unable to obtain the material required to complete the items of work included in this Participating Addendum or related Purchase Order(s) because of restrictions established by the United States Government and if, in the opinion of the Agency, it is impractical to substitute other available material, or the work cannot be completed within a reasonable time, the incomplete portions of the work may be cancelled, or this Participating Addendum and/or related Purchase Order(s) may be terminated.
