Emergency Transportation. Ambulance services for emergencies.
Emergency Transportation. An Employee who suffers an on- the-job injury or illness and requires immediate emergency care shall be transported to a treatment facility at the expense of the Employer.
Emergency Transportation. The provision of emergency transportation services in accordance with s. 409.9089 (13)(c)4., F.S.
Emergency Transportation. On projects where hospital facilities are not available and when hospitalization of a sick employee is required by a doctor, or is considered essential by the Project Supervisor when there is no doctor in attendance, the Employer will arrange and pay for the transportation of the employee from the project to the hospital. The employee will arrange and pay for his/her own transportation back to the project.
Emergency Transportation. Applicant must make a good faith effort to promote the Guaranteed Ride Home program and any other emergency ride programs that are available in the region to employees who carpool, vanpool, use transit, or use other alternative commute options.
Emergency Transportation. Licensed ambulance services (includes $100 taxi fare in lieu of ambulance) to the nearest medical facility capable of providing the required emergency medical treatment.
a. Transportation between hospitals when ordered by the attending physician for Pandemic related emergency medical treatment.
b. If, as the result of a covered Pandemic related emergency, your treating physician or MSH Assistance medical team recommends that you be returned to Canada for Canadian residents or the USA for US residents the costs incurred for any of the three following situations when approved and arranged in advance by MSH Assistance:
i. one-way economy airfare on a commercial flight via the most direct route, including the cost for additional seats to accommodate a stretcher.
ii. return economy airfare via the most direct route for a qualified medical attendant to accompany you if required by the airline or if your attending physician states in writing that it is medically necessary.
iii. air ambulance if medically necessary Ground transportation is limited to $10,000 and air transportation is limited to $50,000.
c. up to $5,000 for your emergency evacuation from a mountainous area, the sea or other remote location to the nearest, most reasonably accessible medical facility or hospital.
Emergency Transportation. In the case of an emergency which results from the illness of or an injury to an employee or their immediate family residing with them and which requires emergency transportation for medical attention, the Employer shall arrange for such transportation to the nearest hospital. Payment for such transportation by Hydro is subject to the approval of the Employer. The areas of the Employer’s operations affected by this clause will be those isolated locations where only emergency transportation would be effective, e.g., Bridge River, La Joie, Clowhom, Whatshan, Ash River, etc.
Emergency Transportation. Emergency transportation can only be provided by an ambulance service including air ambulance service. Emergency ambulance transportation means the provision of ambulance transportation for the purpose of obtaining hospital services for an Enrollee who suffers from severe, life-threatening or potentially disabling conditions which require the provision of emergency medical services while the Enrollee is being transported. Emergency medical services means the provision of initial urgent medical care including, but not limited to, the treatment of trauma, xxxxx, respiratory, circulatory and obstetrical emergencies. APPENDIX K October 1, 2004 K-28 Emergency ambulance transportation is transportation to a hospital emergency room generated by a "Dial 911" emergency system call or some other request for an immediate response to a medical emergency. Because of the urgency of the transportation request, insurance coverage or other billing provisions are not addressed until after the trip is completed. When the Contractor is capitated for this benefit, emergency transportation via 911 or any other emergency call system is a covered benefit and the Contractor is responsible for payment. Emergency Transportation. Land ambulance to the nearest qualified medical facility. Air ambulance - the cost of air evacuation (including a medical attendant when necessary) between hospitals and for hospital admission into Canada when approved in advance by your provincial government health plan or to the nearest qualified medical facility.
