Common use of Emergency Transportation Clause in Contracts

Emergency Transportation. In the case of an emergency which results from the illness of or an injury to an employee or their immediate family residing with them and which requires emergency transportation for medical attention, the Employer shall arrange for such transportation to the nearest hospital. Payment for such transportation by Hydro is subject to the approval of the Employer. The areas of the Employer’s operations affected by this clause will be those isolated locations where only emergency transportation would be effective, e.g., Bridge River, La Joie, Clowhom, Whatshan, Ash River, etc.
