State Finance Law § 139-l, every Bid made on or after January 1, 2019 to the State or any public department or agency thereof, where competitive bidding is required by statute, rule or regulation, for work or services performed or to be performed or goods sold or to be sold, and where otherwise required by such public department or agency, shall contain a certification that the bidder has and has implemented a written policy addressing sexual harassment prevention in the workplace and provides annual sexual harassment prevention training to all of its employees. Such policy shall, at a minimum, meet the requirements of N.Y. State Labor Law § 201-g. N.Y. State Labor Law § 201-g provides requirements for such policy and training and directs the Department of Labor, in consultation with the Division of Human Rights, to create and publish a model sexual harassment prevention guidance document, sexual harassment prevention policy and sexual harassment prevention training program that employers may utilize to meet the requirements of N.Y. State Labor Law § 201-g. Pursuant to N.Y. State Finance Law § 139-l, any bid by a corporate bidder containing the certification required above shall be deemed to have been authorized by the board of directors of such bidder, and such authorization shall be deemed to include the signing and submission of such bid and the inclusion therein of such statement as the act and deed of the bidder. If the Bidder cannot make the required certification, such Bidder shall so state and shall furnish with the bid a signed statement that sets forth in detail the reasons that the Bidder cannot make the certification. After review and consideration of such statement, OGS may reject the bid or may decide that there are sufficient reasons to accept the bid without such certification.
EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES. The State of Oklahoma reserves the right to enter into an Addendum to the Contract at any time to allow for emerging technologies not identified elsewhere in the Contract Documents if there are repeated requests for such emerging technology or the State determines it is warranted to add such technology.
EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES. 4.1 Upon approval from the Lead State, Contractor may add new, related technology to the resulting Master Agreement.
4.2 Technology is not restricted to OEM, nor is it required to be Private Labeled.
4.3 Any new technology that a Contractor requests to add to their Price List must contain a full description of the Product, the MSRP and pricing information, and an explanation/justification as to how the Product conforms to the requirements of the RFP and Master Agreement.
4.4 Any new technology must be priced according to the lowest discount offered for any Product under the Master Agreement. No discount or a 0% discount does not qualify as a “lowest” discount.
EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES. 3.3.1.3.1 The Contractor shall support research, evaluation, and assessing current and emerging technologies that may have an application to TO project architectures.
3.3.1.3.2 The Contractor shall support evaluating emerging technology potential for improving the developed approaches including technical maturity, reliability, and suitability.
3.3.1.3.3 The Contractor shall assist with determining the availability of potential vendors and suppliers for emerging technologies.
3.3.1.3.4 The Contractor shall support evaluating science and technology payloads and concepts.
3.3.1.3.5 The Contractor shall support development or reviews and assist with refining, or critiquing Technology Readiness Assessments (TRAs) and Technology Maturity Assessments (TMAs).

EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES. Advancements to Google Maps have allowed that software to be incorporated into the 511NY site as well as into several of the available ridematching software packages. Other applications that the Consultant shall explore are Google Earth and Microsoft’s Tag Reader (tagging of marketing materials) The Consultant believes that handheld or mobile applications shall be a driving force for future developments in TDM services and applications, and the Consultant shall work with its vendors to ensure that mobile applications are developed while still maintaining traditional applications.

EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES. Competencies:
1. Describe the main characteristics of mobile IP and explain how differs from IP with regard to mobility management and location management as well as performance.
2. Illustrate (with home agents and foreign agents) how e-mail and other traffic is routed using mobile IP.
3. Implement a simple application that relies on mobile and wireless data communications.
4. Describe areas of current and emerging interest in wireless and mobile computing, and assess the current capabilities, limitations, and near-term potential of each.
EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES. DIR recognizes that technology is ever-evolving and advancing. DIR reserves the right to consider the addition of emerging technology such as next generation, enhancements and upgrades for products or services that are within the scope of data communications and networking equipment and related services. Vendor may propose such products or services throughout the term of the contract. Pricing and terms will be negotiated upon DIR acceptance. Any determination will be at DIR’s sole discretion and any decision will be final.
