Emissions Calculations Clause Samples
Emissions Calculations. Demonstration of compliance with the PSELs contained in this Permit shall be based on the total actual emissions from the facility which shall be calculated in accordance with the formulas and techniques set forth in Appendix B of this Permit and emission factors specific to this Permit that have been approved in writing by the Control Officer.
a. The 12-month rolling averages shall be calculated by summing the total emissions over the most recent twelve calendar months in accordance with the formulas set forth in Appendix B of this Permit within 15 days following the end of each calendar month. The Permittee shall prepare a monthly NOx/VOC emission report to be kept on- site for inspection and available to the Department upon request. This requirement will apply to any single HAP whose emission exceeds 0.5 ton per month or 5 tons per year or has an individual PSEL. As required by Condition 33 of this Permit, reports of actual emissions shall be prepared on a quarterly basis and shall be available within two months after the close of the quarter.
b. The Permittee shall provide MCESD with access to confidential business information if the MCESD determines that the information is needed to evaluate air emission associated with specific processes and equipment (e.g., demonstrate compliance with PSELs). MCESD officials agree to maintain the confidentiality of any such information provided to them provided that the confidentiality claim requirements of Condition 2 of this Permit are met.
Emissions Calculations. Wabash determined that the estimated excess emissions from blowing compound to be about 128,000 metric tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent per year (MTCO2e/yr).
Emissions Calculations. Great Dane anticipates that each trailer will contain 68 pounds of noncompliant foam blowing agent that is being brought into California. The total number of trailers using noncompliant foam blowing agent that Great Dane is allowed to bring in is up to 303 TRUs. The estimated total excess emissions from an additional 303 TRUs is 9,623.28 metric tons of CO2 equivalent. The Settlement Agreement fully executed on July 22, 2021, mitigated 214 TRUs of noncompliant foam blowing agent by off- setting 9,050 metric tons of CO2; which TRUs are incorporated into this Settlement Agreement. These TRUs had aerodynamic devices, automatic tire inflation, and Thermoguard lining installed to reduce fuel consumption over the anticipated service life. These trailers were deployed by the sunset date allowed under that Settlement Agreement.
Emissions Calculations. Great Dane anticipates that it will bring 68 pounds of noncompliant foam blowing agent into California, which is a CO2 equivalent of 31.8 metric tons per trailer. With 214 trailers, the estimated total excess emissions is 6,805.2 metric tons of CO2 equivalent.
