Employee Classes. At the time an employee is hired, they are classified as full-time, part-time or temporary and are also told whether they qualify for overtime pay. Unless otherwise specified, the benefits described in this Manual apply only to full-time employees. All other policies described in this Manual and communicated by CPRCD apply to all employees, with the exception of certain wage, salary and time off limitations applying only to "non- exempt" (see the definition that follows) employees. If an employee is unsure of which job classification their position fits into, they should ask their supervisor/steering committee for clarification.
