Employee Representatives Protection Sample Clauses

The Employee Representatives Protection clause is designed to safeguard the rights and roles of individuals who act on behalf of employees, such as union representatives or members of a works council. This clause typically ensures that these representatives are not subject to discrimination, retaliation, or adverse treatment due to their participation in employee representation activities. For example, it may prohibit dismissal or disciplinary action against an employee for carrying out representative duties. Its core function is to promote fair labor practices by protecting those who advocate for employee interests, thereby supporting open communication and collective bargaining within the workplace.
