Common use of Employment by Affiliates Clause in Contracts

Employment by Affiliates. For purposes of this Agreement, employment of the Employee by any Affiliate shall be deemed to be employment by the Employer hereunder, and a transfer of employment of the Employee from one such Affiliate to another shall not be deemed to be a termination of employment of the Employee by the Employer or a cessation of the Term, it being the intention of the parties hereto that employment of the Employee by any Affiliate shall be treated as employment by the Employer and that the provisions of this Agreement shall continue to be fully applicable following any such transfer. References herein to the "Employer" shall mean any such Affiliate that employs the Employee.
