Common use of Engagement of Labor Clause in Contracts

Engagement of Labor. Contractor shall make its own arrangements for the engagement of all Labor in connection with this Agreement and the performance of the Work. Contractor shall employ in the performance of the Work only Labor, whether supervisors, skilled workers or laborers, who are competent to perform their assigned duties and shall cause its Subcontractors and Vendors to adhere to the same standard with respect to their Labor. Contractor agrees, where required by Applicable Law, to employ only licensed personnel in good standing with their respective trades and licensing authorities to perform engineering, design, architectural and other professional services in the performance of the Work. All such professional services shall be performed with the degree of care, skill and responsibility customary among such licensed personnel.

Contractor shall employ in the performance of the Work only Labor, whether supervisors, skilled workers or laborers, who are competent to perform their assigned duties in a safe and secure manner and shall use all reasonable efforts to cause its Subcontractors and Vendors to adhere to the same standard with respect to their Labor. Contractor agrees, where required by Applicable Law, to employ only licensed personnel in good standing with their respective trades and licensing authorities to perform engineering, design, architectural and other professional services in the performance of the Work. All such professional services shall be performed with the degree of care, safety, skill and responsibility customary among such licensed personnel. All Labor shall have received formal documented training, to the extent required by Applicable Standards, in their area of expertise and, if applicable, certification.
