Common use of Enrollment and Assignment of Members Clause in Contracts

Enrollment and Assignment of Members. PacifiCare shall be responsible for distributing the PacifiCare Enrollment Packet to Members upon enrollment and at open enrollment periods. PacifiCare shall provide benefit information to Members concerning the type, scope and duration of benefits to which Members are entitled under the Managed Care Plans. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed to require PacifiCare to assign any minimum or maximum number of Members to Medical Group or to utilize Medical Group for any Members in the Medical Group Service Area. At any time during the term of this Agreement, without terminating this Agreement, PacifiCare may cease assigning Members to Medical Group.
