Common use of Enrollment and Benefit Changes Clause in Contracts

Enrollment and Benefit Changes. a. If the group changes benefits, the COBRA Insured's benefits will also change to match the group's new benefit package. b. The COBRA Insured has the same right to change benefit programs as the active group employees during the employer's Open Enrollment period. c. If the employer changes insurers during the period of Continued Group Benefits, the COBRA Insured for that group will be cancelled as to coverage under this Contract and become the responsibility of the new insurer. d. The Company shall not be obligated to provide COBRA coverage to You if the Contract Holder or Plan Administrator fails to timely notify You of Your rights under COBRA or You fail to timely elect COBRA coverage.
