Environmental and Engineering Clause Samples

The Environmental and Engineering clause sets out the responsibilities and requirements related to environmental conditions and engineering assessments for a project or property. Typically, it outlines which party is responsible for conducting environmental site assessments, managing hazardous materials, or ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, as well as specifying any necessary engineering studies or certifications. This clause helps allocate risk and clarify obligations regarding environmental and structural issues, thereby reducing the likelihood of disputes and ensuring that both parties are aware of their duties in maintaining compliance and safety.
