Environmental Claim. Environmental Claim" means any and all administrative or judicial actions, suits, orders, claims, liens, notices of violation, investigations, complaints, requests for information, proceedings or other written communication, whether criminal or civil, by any Person based upon, alleging, asserting, or claiming any (a) violation of, or liability under any environmental law, (b) violation of any permit, or (c) liability for investigatory costs, cleanup costs, removal costs, remedial costs, response costs, natural resource damages, property damage, personal injury, fines, or penalties arising out of, based upon, resulting from or related to, the presence, release, or threatened release into the environment of any hazardous materials or any other environmental condition.
