Environmental Committee Sample Clauses
The Environmental Committee clause establishes a dedicated group within an organization or project to oversee and manage environmental matters. This committee is typically responsible for developing policies, monitoring compliance with environmental regulations, and recommending improvements to minimize environmental impact. By centralizing environmental oversight, the clause ensures that environmental concerns are systematically addressed and that the organization remains proactive in meeting legal and ethical standards.
Environmental Committee. The objective of this Committee is to recommend and explore various ways in which Air Transat can reduce their environmental footprint.
Environmental Committee. Purchaser and GM agree that the Environmental Committee established under Section 7.6.3 will also facilitate environmental transition issues in relation to the Non-US Properties and the Short Presence Properties.
Environmental Committee. The Employer is committed to acting in a responsible manner towards the environment and recognise that such actions lead to a safe, secure working environment. The Employer will be responsible for monitoring and implementing environment performance on the work site in consultation with its employees.
Environmental Committee. Purchaser and GM will establish an Environmental Committee to facilitate environmental transition issues. The Environmental Committee will:
(a) consist of two representatives from each Party;
(b) meet from time to time as necessary under prevailing circumstances, or at the request of either Party, at a mutually agreed location;
(c) coordinate the scheduling and implementation of remedial action plans and compliance action plans under Section 7.3 (GM Remediation and Corrective Action);
(d) coordinate and facilitate the transfer of Environmental Permits;
(e) coordinate and facilitate the separation or transfer of utility services;
(f) coordinate the scheduling of transition issues involving utilities, services, or wastes; and
(g) address other scheduling or coordination issues arising under this Article 7. Each Party will designate from time to time, by written notice to the other, a contact person who will be primarily responsible for coordinating and managing that Party's participation on the Environmental Committee. The Environmental Committee does not have the authority to (a) act as a dispute resolution committee, or (b) modify or amend the terms of this Agreement.
Environmental Committee. The Company agrees to establish a Joint Environmental Committee consisting of two (2) hourly employees and two (2) salaried employees. The parties agreed that environmental issues and statistics pertaining to Canadian Fabricated Products are to be held confidential if so requested. The Committee shall meet three (3) times annually at mutually agreeable times and place to review and discuss issues involv- ing the environment, recycling and energy conservation which pertain to Canadian Fabricated Products employees.
Environmental Committee. As of the Effective Date, Solutia and Monsanto shall have established a committee (the “Environmental Committee”) to oversee Solutia’s Environmental Remediation with respect to the Shared Sites in accordance with the charter, attached hereto as Exhibit I (the “Charter”), which may be amended by the agreement of the Parties from time to time. The initial Charter shall include the following provisions:
(i) The Environmental Committee shall at all times consist of five (5) members.
(ii) Solutia shall appoint two (2) members of the Environmental Committee and Monsanto shall appoint three (3) members of the Environmental Committee.
(iii) The Environmental Committee shall approve (A) the annual budget for Environmental Remediation with respect to the Shared Sites (the “Budget”) and (B) a strategic plan for Environmental Remediation with respect to all Shared Sites (the “Remediation Plan”).
