ePHI Certification Sample Clauses

ePHI Certification. With respect to any ePHI (other than enrollment/disenrollment information and Summary Health Information which are not subject to these restrictions) created, received, maintained or transmitted by Plan Sponsor and/or any Authorized Employee from or on behalf of Covered Entity, Plan Sponsor and Authorized Employee shall: (i) Subcontractors and Agents. Plan Sponsor will ensure that any agents, including independent contractors and subcontractors, to whom ePHI is provided from the Covered Entity, agree to implement reasonable and appropriate security measures to protect the ePHI.
