EQUALITIES AND DIVERSITIES ISSUES. 4.1 The aim of the two events is to showcase diverse and multi-cultural experiences to enable all local residents and communities to enjoy and celebrate the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad together. • Recognising the diversity of the area - North Finchley has a rich diversity with communities interacting with each other, sharing and learning from each other. The Artsdepot Trust Ltd leading on these events will further enhance and ensure cultural opportunity and awareness is maximised. • Inclusive participation – the youth festival event is open to young people and aims to capture a wide and diverse selection of available local young talent as well showcasing a range of performers and artists from varying cultural backgrounds.. • Equal opportunities policy - For the purpose of this element of the project, partners will all be made aware of Barnet Council’s Equalities Policy and be required to work to it.
