Common use of Equalities Clause in Contracts

Equalities. 25.1 The Contractor shall and shall ensure its sub-contractor’s and Staff at all times comply with the requirements of the Equality Xxx 0000 and all other related statutory and regulatory requirements and the Council’s policies and procedures copies of which are available on request relating to equal opportunities and shall not treat any person or group of people less favourably than another on the grounds of age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, marriage and civil partnerships.. 25.2 The Contractor shall fully indemnify the Council against all actions, claims demands, proceedings, damages, costs, charges and expenses whatsoever in respect of any breach by the Contractor or this Condition 24.
